The Late Colonel Jack Bailey was the operator of the vessel Akuna, which rescued Dad and 67 people on his boat from deadly pirates in the Gulf of Thailand, on April 15, 1979. Mr. Scott Adlai Stevenson is a younger cousin of the Late Adlai Stevenson -- who was a two-time presidential candidate, ambassador of the United Nations, state Governor, Senator and Secretary of State.
